Reigning champions Vipers SC seek to end the winless run when they host Paidha Black Angels at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende on Friday.
The Venoms haven’t picked maximum points since the 3-1 win over SC Villa at Namboole on October 24 and have drawn their successive three matches in the period.
Fourth on the log with 15 points, the Venoms who are expected to miss the services of goalie Fabian Mutombora will go top with maximum points.
But they must be careful against a side that earned the first ever away win at Kitende in the Uganda Cup last year.
Then in the Fufa Big League, the Black Angels stunned the Venoms with a 1-0 victory that saw them dumped out of the knock out of the competition at quarter finals in 2017.
