Proline 1 – 3 Vipers

Vipers SC continued their impressive run of form, coming from behind to thrash relegation-threatened Proline 3-1 at Lugogo on Tuesday.

Gift Ali gave Proline the lead inside 10 minutes before Moses Waisswa, substitute Pius Wangi and Daniel Sserunkuma hit back for the table leaders.

Victory ensured Vipers,  who have beaten Villa, Masavu and KCCA in their last three games, stretched their lead at the top by four to 55 points.

Defeat for Proline further complicated their survival chances as they stay in the bottom three on 26 points with four matches to go.

Vipers fell behind to a seventh-minute Ali freekick that flew in past goalkeeper Ismail Watenga but Waiswa levelled before the break with thunderous drive.

Wangi added the second for Vipers 12 minutes from time before Sserunkuma made sure of the points with 12th goal of the campaign.
