Vipers SC 7-0 Myda

Braces from Yunus Sentamu and Paul Mucureezi saw Vipers SC thump hapless Myda FC 7-0 at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende on Saturday.

Caesar Manzoki, Disan Galiwango and Ibrahim Orit added the others as coach Fred Kajoba’s men played one of their two matches in hand.

The result moved them to third place on 10 points, and if they beat Express on Tuesday, Vipers will go top of the log against UPDF by a point.

Myda remain in the bottom two with one point having lost four of their five matches.

Returning to his former team, Sentamu opened the scoring on 10 minutes before doubling Vipers lead 18 minutes later.

Manzoki made it 3-0 on 39 minutes before Mucureezi stretched it beyond the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) newcomers on the stroke of half time.

Pilsner Man of the Match, Mucureezi added his second of the match for 5-0 on 58 minutes before Galiwango and Orit entered the fray to complete a resounding 7-0 victory.
