FRIDAY UPL RESULTS

Maroons 1-1 Vipers

Police 1-1 Proline

Fahad Bayo’s second half penalty rescued Vipers as they secured a 1-1 draw at Maroons in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) match played on Friday.

Bayo’s strike cancelled out Fred Amaku’s first half goal.

The Vipers strike had earlier missed three decent goal scoring chances the best of which saw him misdirect his header after a beautiful Dennis Mwemezi cross.

The result saw Vipers end the first round with 34 points, with KCCA the only team that could surpass their tally.

At Lugogo, Police forward Ben Ochen scored from the penalty spot, his ninth goal of the campaign, as his side drew 1-all Proline.

Police remain third from bottom with 12 points while bottom placed Proline are three points behind but with two games in hand.
