Vipers (Uganda) Vs Volcan de Moroni (Comoros) – Mandela National stadium, Namboole @ 4pm

Uganda’s representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup, Vipers start their continental journey on Saturday at Namboole with a home tie against Volcan de Moroni.

The Uganda Cup holders go into the game with a little more experience as compared to 2015 when they played in the CAF Champions League – their maiden time.

The two time Azam Uganda Premier League winners are in buoyant mood after beating Entebbe Road rivals Lweza 2-0 in the league on Tuesday and would love to carry the same form into the match.

Tony Odur and Erisa Ssekisambu will be the key men for the hosts who are without the experienced Mike Sserumaga through injury.

According to interim coach, Richard Wasswa, they know little about the opponents but they are more than ready for the game.
