Reigning champions Vipers make a trip to relegation threatened Ndejje University aware that a win will take them joint top with KCCA who play 24 hours later.

They go into the game with belief after a 2-0 win over Express last week but face a side desperate to pick themselves up after two successive defeats to Express and Bright Stars.

Vipers’ Michael Nam Ouma admits it will be a tough game and consider each game as a final.

“I said before that every match for us is like a final so every game is important therefore I’m confident and hopeful my players can make this happen.

They are without defenders Geoffrey Wasswa and Livingstone Mulondo for the tie as well as the long term absentee Bashir Sekagya.

Ndejje will miss the services of key players including Francis Onekalit who is on loan from Vipers.

The first round fixture ended 1-0 in favour of the champions thanks to a late goal from Davis Kasirye.
