Vipers have completed the signing of left back Isa Mubiru from UPDF for an undisclosed fee.
The defender becomes the first signing for the league champions and is viewed as a replacement for Aziz Kayondo who left in January.
“Moving to Vipers SC is a big and important step in my life,” Mubiru told the club website.
“I am delighted to be joining Vipers SC at this very exciting time for the club. I’m looking forward to being a part of this experienced, dynamic squad as we challenge for honours next season.”
General Manager Steven Mulindwa said: “We’re delighted Mubiru is joining us. He’s a very talented player who was spotted and will continue to improve. He increases our options defensively and we really needed another left back after Aziz Kayondo left.”
Disan Galiwango has been the only recognised left back at Kitende since Kayondo’s departure.
