Vipers have announced the signing of striker Daniel Sserunkuma on from Express.

The diminutive forward signs on a two year deal after spending just six months in his second stint at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.

Sserunkuma couldn’t hide his joy at his unveiling and termed Vipers as a great club with big ambitions.

“Vipers SC is a great club with a lot of ambitions,” he said. “They have achieved what they have in a short time,” he added.

I know I have to prove myself here and I will give my best to boost the team in fighting for the trophy this season.

Vipers has however also kept striker Tony Odur who was highly linked with a loan move to Express.

However, Aziz Kemba has been sent to Bul on a six months loan deal, Benjamin Nyakoojo and Musa Malunda are now at Masavu also loan while Bashir Asiku returns to the squad.

Youngster Brian Kalumba has also been promoted to the senior side ahead of a highly anticipated second half of the season.

Vipers are 3rd on the 16-team log with 26 points, six behind SC Villa who lead the standings.
