After failing to beat SC Villa, champions elect Vipers SC will attempt to break their own when they visit Wakiso Giants.

While winning the league in 2014/15, the Venoms amassed 69 points, the most in a 30-game league format and a win against the Purple Sharks who since slumped in form will take them to 72 points.

Vipers could rest a couple of first teamers for the game with the Stanbic Uganda Cup semi-final second leg on mind but they still possess a big threat.

It will be their second visit to the Purple Sharks this season after edging the side 3-1 in the Uganda Cup quarter finals.

The game also provides chance for leading goal scorer Ceaser Manzoki to stretch his tally at the summit.

Wakiso Giants, 8th on the table will only be seeking their first win against the Venoms.

They lost the first round clash 5-0 at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende but haven’t lost a league game against the Venoms at Wakissha.
