Vipers ceded more ground to StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) leaders KCCA as they were held goalless by Tooro United at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende on Saturday.
It was the same for SC Villa, who are struggling to get back to their feet. The record 16-time champions, last winners in 2004, could only settle for a goalless draw with lowly Paidha Black Angels, who are bottom of the log, in Arua.
The result at Kitende left Vipers five points off the top, where KCCA are on 30. The Venoms have, however, played two matches fewer. Tooro stayed 11th with 14 points.
Villa also stayed unmoved in 12th on 13 points, while Paidha are rooted at the bottom of the 16-team log with just five points from 13 matches.
