Vipers SC 1-1 SC Villa
Patrick Mbowa scored late in the second half for hosts Vipers SC to snatch a point in the 1-1 draw with SC Villa at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende on Friday.
Defender Gavin Kizito had given the visitors a seventh minute lead and the Jogoos seemed destined for all three points until Mbowa struck 13 minutes from full time.
The result sees Vipers, who remain unbeaten after four matches, fall one place to fourth on eight points on the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) table, while Villa are three places below on five marks.
BUL and surprise package in league newcomers, Kitara, lead the standings on 12 points after winning all their respective four opening matches.
The league continues on Saturday with URA hosting Wakiso Giants and Express welcoming Soltilo Bright Stars.
