Vipers SC came from a goal down to see off second-placed KCCA 2-1 in a top of the table clash at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo on Saturday.

Caeser Manzoki and Milton Karisa’s goals cancelled out an early one from Denis Iguma to edge ever closer to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL)  title.

The win saw Vipers open a 12-point gap at the top. They have 58 points.

Unless KCCA win all their remaining six matches and the Venoms do not, theirs; it will be the fifth title for Vipers.

Iguma headed KCCA ahead off Ashraf Mugume’s free kick on six minutes but Manzoki restored parity with a header of his own as Vipers refused to give up.

The visitors then went ahead for the first time when Manzoki set up Karisa for the winner in tbe second half.
