Vipers’ Zaga close to Police FC loan deal

Vipers SC have finally agreed to loan attacking midfield wizard Frank Tumwesigye Zaga to Police FC.

The highly rated U-20 international has found playing time hard to get at the reigning league champions and the club believes the season long loan deal will help him achieve that and grow as well.

“Vipers sports club has agreed a loan deal for Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye to Police FC until the end of the 2018-19 season,” read a statement on the club’s official website.

“He will be a great addition to our already good midfield,” said Coach Abdallah Mubiru.

In central midfield, Police already has two players on loan from Vipers in Ashraf Fadiga Mugume and Hassan Gaata Kalega as well as Albert Mugisa, Shakur Makeera, Juma Balinya and Samuel Kayongo.

Last season, Vipers SC loaned Aggrey Madoi to the Cops and his rise was imminent as he got a national team call up and the Venoms have since recalled him.

They are hoping Zaga, Gaata and Fadiga also follow suit under a tactician who is never afraid to play young players.
