URA 2-0 Paidha Black Angels
Vitalis Tabu grabbed a double on his URA league debut as the tax collectors beat newcomers Paidha Black Angels 2-0 at Namboole on Friday.
The visitors held their own against Sam Ssimbwa’s side but succumbed to URA’s incessant pressure just before the interval.
With the clock ticking to half time, Tabu announced his arrival with a goal to take it into the break 1-0.
The tricky winger made it 2-0 in the 62nd minute to ensure a positive start for the tax collectors.
On their part, Paidha joined Nyamityobora and Ndejje University as the only sides to fail to score on the opening day of the league.
URA’s next StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) game is away to Express while Paidha Black Angels host Police.
