There will be fire works at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende when Vipers host Wakiso Giants in a highly anticipated clash.

The reigning champions come into the game unbeaten this season and won their previous outing 2-0 away to Bright Stars after two successive draws.

This is in stark contrast with the Purple Sharks who have picked just one win in the five league games and lost badly 3-1 to Kitara in their last outing.

However, form usually doesn’t matter a lot when the two meet as most of their league games have been draws with Vipers winning 3 while Wakiso Giants are yet to beat the Venoms in eight league meetings.

Both last season’s encounters ended in draws including the Stanbic Uganda Cup quarter final clash which was decided on penalties.

Former Venoms Tom Masiko, Paul Willa, Bashir Ssekagya and Rahmat Ssenfuka are expected to face their former bosses while from the red corner, Grant Matsiko has a chance to play against his former immediate bosses.

Other games on Tuesday will see KCCA make the trip to Adjumani to face Arua Hill, BUL host URA while Mbarara City are at home to Soltilo Bright Stars.
