Tooro United 0-1 Wakiso Giants

Wakiso Giants recovered from back to back defeats with a narrow 1-0 victory over home side Tooro United at Buhinga Stadium, Fort Portal, on Sunday.

Frank Ssebuufu scored the game’s only goal as the visitors completed a StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) double over the Tooro.

The win moves the Purple Sharks to 36 points in seventh position, three ahead of sixth and fifth placed Arua Hill and Express respectively.

Tooro United are enduring a relegation-bound season and remain bottom of the 16-team table with 10 points with a handful of games left.

The national league continues on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with both scheduled and rescheduled games on card.
