Wakiso Giants 2-2 Kyetume FC

Wakiso Giants battled from two goals down to earn a point at home to Kyetume in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) match played on Tuesday.

The visitors, coached by Livingston Mbabazi, gave the Purple Sharks a quick wake up call as early as the 10th minute when Baker Buyala opened the floodgates.

As the hosts were still figuring what had just happened, Sharif Saaka – making the most of Steven Kabuye’s pass – made it 2-0 for Kyetume.

Wakiso Giants, coached by Douglas Bamweyana, pulled one back when Simon Namwanja’s cross was turned in by Ibrahim Kasule on 31 minutes.

By half time, it was 2-2 after Yasin Mugume connected home Amos Muwonge’s cross eight minutes to the break.

The result moves both sides to two points apiece from two games.
