At Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku, Tom Masiko and Kirizestom Ntambi scored to give Wakiso Giants a 2-1 win over Mbarara City.
Ibrahim Oriti scored the Ankole Lions in the second half but the Sharks held on to win the game.
Elsewhere, URA were held again by Bul in a 1-1 draw at Namboole while Kyetume saw off Tooro United in Fort Portal.
