- Vipers 2-1 Paidha Black Angels
Geoffrey Wasswa scored the winning goal in the second of additional time as Vipers edged visiting Paidha Black Angels 2-1 to reclaim top spot.
Javier Espinoza rested most of his stars with a much changed line up but they looked better but wasteful as the half time went goalless.
In the second half, they won a penalty after Abraham Ndugwa was brought down in the area and Tito Okello made no mistake from the spot in the 58 minute.
But the lead didn’t last as much as Paidha drew level when Cromwell Rothomwo equalised with a neat kick on the volley.
The two coaches made changes with either going for it but not even Noah Wafula, Dan Sserunkuma and Brian Nkuubi could change the tide for the hosts.
With almost everyone believing a draw was the result, Wasswa who named the Pilsner Man of the Match beat the PBA backline and slotted at the near post to send the crowd wild.
Vipers are back on top with 18 points while PBA stayed bottom of the log with four points.
