KCCA manager Mike Mutebi is confident is his side will reclaim the Azam Uganda Premier League.
The gaffer who has won two titles in the previous campaigns revealed this at a function were eleven new players were unveiled, six days to the kickoff of the 2017/18 season.
The Kasasiro have gone for mainly youth in their recruitment this window with more than half the number expected to play their first season in the top division.
“It’s always our responsibility as a club to look for new Players,” said Mutebi. “That’s why I have gone with this new generation that’s hungry for success,” he added.
These boys are coming here with hunger for success and they join this winning club where I tip them to succeed.
The new signings are goalkeeper Jamil Maliyamungu from Maroons, ex-Victors, SC Villa and Vipers midfielder Muhammad Abdallah, Allan Oryek from relegated Sadolin Paints, Tito Okello from Tanzania’s Mbeya City and Patrick Kaddu from Maroons.
Others are defender Filbert Ochen, Faisal Kiberu, James Begisa, Ibrahim Wamannah, Congolese Faisam Ndjibu and Nigerian Abubaker Saddiq Tijjani.
The Kasasiro have in this window also lost Tom Masiko, Robert Ssentongo, Vincent Kayizzi, Vincent Akinyemi, Denis Rukundo, Ivan Ntege, Douglas Kisembo and Geoffrey Sserunkuma
