Wounded Express dare on form Wakiso Giants

Express FC coach James Odoch is wary of the threat posed by his former employers Wakiso Giants as his side prepares to face them on Monday.

The Red Eagles lost their last outing 2-0 to Soltilo Bright Stars and a repeat of a similar result isnt what he wants at Wakissha.

“We expect a tough encounter against Wakiso who are without a doubt the best team in the league so far when you look at the standings and how they are playing,” Odoch told his club website.

However, he believes that recent history will play a part as the seven time champions have never dropped a point every time they have played the Purple Sharks.

“But we have a strong record against them and we shall be hoping to capitalize on that to ensure that we return to winning ways having lost our previous game against Bright Stars.”

The visitors could be without Allan Kayiwa for the tie through illness and have Daniel Shabene suspended for his red card in the recent outing.

In Kayiwa’s absence, they will look to Anwar Ntege and Marvin Oshaba for inspiration up front.

Meanwhile, Wakiso Giants will hope their midfield gems Titus Ssematimba and Ibrahim Kasule show up in fine mood.
