Express seek to resurrect from a 2-0 defeat when they host high flying Mbarara City at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.

The visitors won the reverse fixture 3-1 at Kavumba but have never won a game at Wankulukuku losing 1-0 to Express last season and 2-1 to Nyamityobora early this season.

But they come into the game with belief after they ended a three match winless streak with a 2-1 victory over relegation bound Paidha Black Angels in their last game.

They face a Red Eagles side that have not won a league game at Wankulukuku under George Ssimwogerere and last picked a league victory at the venue against Nyamityobora before closure of the first round.

The hosts remain without striker Eric Kambale who just returned to training and won’t be match fit as well as Joel Male and Arthur Kiggundu.

But they welcome Disan Galiwango, Frank Tumwesigye Zaga and Charles Musoke to the team as they target a 8th league win in 23 games.

Paul Mucureezi, Ivan Eyam and Hilary Mukundane will be key for the visitors who lie third on the log.
