Mubiru joins the Entebbe-based side on a two-year employment contract. He returns to the technical bench after being relieved of his duties by KCCA in the previous campaign. 

StarTimes Uganda Premier League side Gaddafi Football Club have appointed Abdallah Mubiru as their head coach.

The news was confirmed on the club’s official website on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. 

“We are honoured to resume our UPL chapter under the guidance of Abdallah Mubiru – an accomplished and visionary football mind,” the statement partly reads.

Mubiru joins the Entebbe-based side on a two-year employment contract. He returns to the technical bench after being relieved of his duties by KCCA in the previous campaign. 

He takes over from Robert Mukasa, who guided the team to the top tier. 

The former KCCA boss has previously coached at Police, Vipers SC and Mbeya City in Tanzania.
