Wasswa Bbosa and George Lutalo have reversed roles upon signing new contracts at Kitara.

In a statement released by the club on Monday July 7, 2025, Lutalo now is the new head coach while Bbosa takes over the assistant coach’s role.

“Mr. Lutalo George William, previously the Assistant Coach has been appointed as the head coach while Mr. Wasswa Bossa will now assume the role of assistant coach,” the statement partly reads.

The exchange of roles is mainly due to Fufa’s requirements for head coaches to have a CAF A coaching license as Bbosa must enroll for the course while Lutalo holds one already.

The confirmation of the club’s backroom staff will be made as soon as they finalize internal consultations and alignments.
